Alaska Reviews are Starting to Come In
Hello! Although most of our clients are on their Alaska cruises in July and August, a few folks have just returned -- and all reports are excellent!! Our honeymooners on the dazzling Norwegian Pearl had a wonderful time enjoying the ship, the ports-of-call, and the magnificent Alaskan scenery. They were especially happy to have seen whales, bears, and so many bald eagles! They loved "Freestyle" cruising, and can't wait to try a cruise in the Caribbean next time. Some of our more experienced cruisers sailed on Holland America Line's beautiful Westerdam, and ...

Rare Morning Blog
I woke up early today, which was very odd because usually I can't sleep during the night and then I can't get up in the morning. But today it's a beautiful, quiet morning and the back yard is full of birds! I don't know what they're chowing down on out there, but it must be quite the birdie feast -- I counted 6 bluejays, 2 cardinals, and 2 finches. I can hear the doves, but I don't see them. I heard some rustling around in the landscaping under the bedroom window, so I'm sure they were also enjoying the wild strawberry that I allow as ground cover back there. Yummy...

Fantastic Cruise Itinerary
I was putting some specials (some of my favorite cruises) on the website, and noticed that headquarters had put up the Carnival Legend out of Tampa (September 27th sailing) at some kind of ridiculously low price -- and I took a second look and thought -- "My goodness what a fantastic itinerary!" This ship goes to Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, AND Roatan!!! Can you believe it? All the best ports-of-call of the Western Caribbean in one inexpensive cruise -- people you have got to go! If you love the water then take advantage of this opportunity to swim, snorkel, dive ...

Destination of the Week
I thought this feature would be better for the blog format than a separate website page, since it's mostly anecdotal -- meant as a suggestion, and to inspire ideas. Enjoy!

Aren't Travel Magazines Fun?
I get at least one travel magazine of some sort or other every day -- and goodness knows I don't have time to read all of them, but it's fun to flip through them and contemplate all the amazing places there are to visit on Planet Earth! Just a handful of publications this week had articles on Istanbul, Canada, India, Africa, Rome, crusing Europe -- and it just went on and on. So what I'm going to do is this: on the weekends I'm going to publish a post on my travel blog forum with links to various articles of interest. My blog is at luv2cruz.wordpress.com if you'd like to go th...

Roman Holiday
I can't believe I'm almost as old as this movie and I had never seen it in all these years until Saturday night! I've been wanting to plan a Mediterranean cruise next year that includes Rome, and now I can't wait to spend a magical day there just like Audrey Hepburn. Exploring the Colosseum, drinking champagne in a sidewalk cafe, scooting around the city on a Vespa, dancing on a river barge -- sounds amazingly romantic. I bet I could get a flower market proprietor to give me flower, too, and I would carry it around everywhere I went for the whole day. What movie insp...

Finally Got the Vancouver Photos!
I made Vancouver, Canada the destination of the week, but it took a couple of days for my photos to be approved and uploaded -- so here they are -- enjoy!
