Woo-Hoo! A rainy day!
I was sooooo tired of it being HOT! I wouldn't want it to rain every day, but the temperatures can stay this way forever, as far as I'm concerned. Why, it almost feels "fallish!"
And, this month is Cruise Month -- so check out all the hot deals, especially if you have vacation time left for this year. Tomorrow is "World's Largest Cruise Night," and next Tuesday is the final reveal of the Oasis of the Seas neighborhoods (with a sale to follow), and then some of the cruise lines have extended sales this weekend and next week -- so it's a great time to get something last-minute or get a head start on next year.
I wanted to squeeze something else in for this year, but I'm not seeing how I can do it (yet). There's such a short window of time this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even the Holidays have some good rates, though -- so maybe that will work. I really want to pick something for next Spring, since I have the Canada-New England cruise in the Fall (Caribbean Princess -- awesome!).
Maybe I'll get to do the transatlantic on the Queen Mary 2! That's the one I most want, along with a couple of days in London (and using American Airlines miles to get back). If I had more miles, I would snag one of the Hawaii cruises between the holidays -- NCL has balconies on the Pride of America for only $1399! Hmmmm....
