This time it was the office phone!
Wow -- I had no sooner got my beautiful new cell phone (thanks to Bob at T-Mobile), when the messaging system at the office malfunctioned! Good grief, what is going on with these telephones?
I can't get any work done when my communication devices break down. And that's not even to mention my "anti-virus" software that keeps messing me up (it pops up at weird times and doesn't do anything except keep me from working). Finally talked to someone and found out that the "anti-virus" software is not compatible with my "spyware" software -- OK, now this is getting ridiculous.
Hello Microsoft! Why don't you just build this anti-virus and anti-spying stuff into the operating system? Yes, I'll pay 50 bucks more for it, and then just leave me alone for 5 mintues so I can get some research done, got it?
My thanks to everyone who had patience with my technology woes and finally got hold of me, and my apologies to everyone else. Hey, I don't have any patience with uncooperative technology, either -- I just want to turn it on and it works! Looks like everything is running properly now (new cell phone, message system working again, anti-virus fixed), so go ahead and call or e-mail me again when you get a chance.
Thanks and talk soon -- Janet
