I just spoke with Sandra -- she got back from her cruise and said it was "a dream!"  She and her husband have been Princess passengers for a long time, but this was their first cruise aboard one of the "small ships."

She said they missed having a cigar bar and a late buffet, but otherwise just loved the Ocean Princess and loved that with fewer people onboard there were never any lines, it never felt crowded, and the ship had a really relaxed atmosphere.

The entertainment was excellent, although the stage productions weren't as "big" as the shows they're used to seeing on the large ships.  Food and service were described as "wonderful!"

I asked what was her favorite place on the itinerary, and she said Monaco!  Unfortunately, I can't post her pictures here, but she sent me some and I can tell you that everything on their tour looked absolutely gorgeous.  They went to Monte Carlo, too, and she said that the casino is incredible.  It really sounded like an amazing tour -- they drove along the coast of the Riviera from Nice and also had a lovely lunch in a picturesque town overlooking the water.

She also loves visiting Capri and staying at their favorite hotel in Rome (it's our little secret, but I'll share it with you if you want to go).  She gave me a great tip for enjoying Rome -- use the "hop-on-hop-off" buses as the perfect way to get around and see all the sights.

I just love it when dreams come true, don't you?
