Rare Morning Blog
I woke up early today, which was very odd because usually I can't sleep during the night and then I can't get up in the morning.
But today it's a beautiful, quiet morning and the back yard is full of birds! I don't know what they're chowing down on out there, but it must be quite the birdie feast -- I counted 6 bluejays, 2 cardinals, and 2 finches. I can hear the doves, but I don't see them.
I heard some rustling around in the landscaping under the bedroom window, so I'm sure they were also enjoying the wild strawberry that I allow as ground cover back there. Yummy treats!
As long as they stay away from the tomatoes I love watching them! Well, I better get out there and pick the beans before it gets really hot and burns them up...
