Scary Halloween Travel Horror Stories (scream!)
1. Brains!: Pam wanted to take her family to Disney World—a no-brainer, right? So she got online and found a package that “said” it included dining, but creepy music haunted her brain, so she called Larry at Cruise Planners and, sure enough, found out—HORRORS— that the internet package did NOT really include dining at all! EEEEk! Her family would have ended up becoming zombies at Disney World!
2. It’s Alive!: Jim just couldn’t believe that a live travel agent could offer free service plus the same prices as the internet agencies. So he bought the cheapest cruise online that he could find. HORRORS – when he got on the ship he discovered he had a tiny room behind the elevator with—BUNKBEDS! His wife was horrified and from then on they only booked with a live person.
3. Terror in the Skies!: Skip was a tough, “do it yourself” kind of guy who didn’t need no stinkin’ travel agent! He found his Cancun deal online himself and bragged about his cheap price to everybody. But lurking in the hidden details? He was flying out of one airport and back into another, plus had long layovers in Mexico City—HORRORS! By the time he got home he was a complete ZOMBIE!
4. Zombie Maze!: Sue and her family had never taken a cruise, but had heard lots of good things so wanted to give it a try. But where to start? What to do? Was one cruise line better than another or a better value? Did they need passports? How should they arrange their flights? What about cabins and dining and activities? EEEEEk! She nearly turned into a zombie trying to navigate creepy website mazes by herself until she was steered back to the world of the living by a competent travel agent!
5. Time Warp!: Chris couldn’t figure out the right time to book his trip! What if he booked too early and then the price went down? What if he waited too long and then the price went up? He was paralyzed with terror! But he turned to Brandon for help and got the best advice on the right timing for booking his air, then got the assurance that if the price of his cruise went down, Brandon would lower his rate so he could go ahead and book without fear!
