Just Got Back From Kansas City...
Hi everyone -- thanks for checking in. I was pressed for time getting everything finished Friday before Steve and I left for the Big XII Championship in Kansas City, so I didn't get a chance to post a blog entry.
The game was Saturday night, and what a great one it was. And almost as good as the outcome was the weather -- we were expecting it to be bitterly cold and it was actually tolerable. Compared to some miserable Chiefs games we're been to, it was downright tropical.
We think we will get tickets to the BCS Championship game in Miami on January 8th, so we're looking forward to that one next. Amazingly, our cruise gets back into Miami on that day -- so we'll already be there!
Sooners fans planning to attend the game -- if you would like to make a nice vacation out of it and join us on the cruise, give me a call. It's the Celebrity Century, sailing on January 3rd for 5 nights, with stops in Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Should be awesome fun, and believe me -- the price is right!! I'll also help you with air arrangements and a hotel if you want me to.
