It's a Miserable Day!
I hate these bad-weather days when it's too cold and icy to get out and do things. I have a whole box of brand-new Cruise Planners magazines to distribute, but I can't stand the thought of freezing all day getting in and out of the car, plus the danger of slipping on an ice patch in somebody's parking lot.
So, I sit and sulk and wait for the Sun to finish melting this wretched mess and drying out the parking lots. I hope someone calls and cheers me up with a booking -- I would just love to help them find a great deal and get away to someplace hot!
Yesterday I found the Voyager of the Seas on sale for just $699 for Valentine's Day! Do you want to go? I'm throwing in a bottle of bubbly to "enhance the romance." Hey, I'm bored -- give me a call!

By the way, have I ever told you how fabulous Roatan is? It's a tiny island off the coast of mainland Honduras -- a pristine Paradise full of palm trees, sugary beaches, and friendly natives. It's like a miniature Jamaica, but without the Margaritaville. The day Steve and I spent there was just the best -- we hired a local guide/cab driver; and he took us to some excellent vistas for photographs; a couple of shopping areas, including the delightful "downtown" of the village; and a gorgeous beach, where he waited for us while we sunned and played in the wonderfully warm, clear water; and then he dropped us at a charming crafts market near the dock where we browsed around and bought a few things before walking back to the ship. It was the perfect day!
