I get to have some fun this week...
Hello! Hope everybody had a happy and romantic Valentine's Day! Good thing I had planned to stay in anyway, because I spent the entire weekend lolling about sick. I've got the whole head cold bit -- gone through at least one box of Kleenex and will surely use up a bottle of DayQuil, too.
I've got to get better fast, though, because Thursday I'm going to California for a 2-night preview of the Mariner of the Seas in her new home port of Los Angeles. Beginning next Sunday, she'll go out every week on 7-night Mexican Riviera cruises from the Port of Los Angeles-San Pedro.
My report back will focus on this particular ship, but after doing the Mexican Riviera last year, I can already enthusiastically promote the cruise and the ports-of-call.
I'll also spend a few extra days getting to know the LA area better, including a day at Disney Land. I've been to Disney World in Florida 4 times, but never done the West Coast park -- can't wait! I find that travelling west is a lot easier than going east, so I hope to take notes on tips and opportunities to help make California as much of a no-brainer for my clients as it is for me. Hey, if I can save people time, money, and what I call the "hassle factor" then my service value goes up even more, right?
Well, I think I'll go see if a hot shower will give me enough energy to work a bit more and then go to Kroger for some Sudafed and more Kleenex...
