Fabulous client review...
As expected, the Oceania Nautica left nothing to be desired -- everything was perfect from beginning to end!
They sailed the ever-popular "Yacht Havens" itinerary -- a 10-night, port-intensive (no sea days) route from Rome to Barcelona with stops in all the tres chic harbors of the Riviera -- plus the islands of Corsica (a real hidden gem!) and Sardinia.
They were particularly delighted with the Oceania food, service, and "extra touches" like the free bottled water when disembarking in the ports, slippers in the stateroom, and a nicer-than-usual tote bag (super-handy for carrying the water, sunscreen, cameras, and souvenirs!).
And what can you say about a menu designed by super-chef Jaques Pepin but "wow!" There was caviar, lobster, escargot, beautiful steaks and fish of every kind -- everything superb and perfectly prepared and presented.
They loved the ports, LOVED Barcelona -- and the hotel I found for them turned out to be another hidden jewel (my little secret, but I'll share it with you if you book a cruise!) overlooking the Ramblas and just steps away from the hop-on-hop-off bus that turned out to be an amazingly wonderful way to see the city.
It turned out to be a luxury vacation for not that much more than a mainstream cruise, and they just couldn't have come home happier with the trip. Naturally, they are already starting to think about next year's cruise...
