Early Summer Travelers are reporting back...
Lisa and Carlos just got back from the Riviera Maya, and had a wonderful time at the brand-new Grand Riviera Princess! They had an amazing time, the beaches were magnificent, and the snorkeling was great – “really fun!” The resort was just as beautiful and romantic as it was described, and American Express Vacations delivered their usual excellent service (plus they had got a great deal on their package!).
Lisa said the best part was a romantic lobster/steak dinner on the beach, complete with saxophone player and perfect weather! Except for a disappointment with the wine, everything was perfect. They especially loved the little town of Playa del Carmen, and hope to go back one day and spend more time there, and have the time to go out to see some of the Mayan ruins in the area, too.
Next up for them will be their wedding/honeymoon! I don’t know how they’re going to choose where to go – but I’ve got some great ideas…
Chuck and Cozette just got back from a cruise aboard the fabulous Adventure of the Seas! They also stayed a few extra nights in San Juan, and really loved it – of course, they had picked the best hotel – the Sheraton Old San Juan!
They said their balcony stateroom was just perfect, and the service aboard the ship was impeccable. They met a lot of great new friends, and just had a super time everywhere they went. Chuck especially liked St. Maarten, because it was a fun and easy place to toodle around on their own. Cozette is the beach-lover, and she said all the islands were absolutely gorgeous!
Next up for them is an Alaska cruisetour aboard the amazing Diamond Princess, with a land package that includes 2 nights in Denali! They’ll be booking that this week to take advantage of the reduced deposit sale.
