Avoid this Airline!
Have you heard about the Ryanair CEO considering making the lavatories on their planes pay-toilets? It could be a sick joke or a publicity stunt, but geez -- how does this airline stay in business? I have never booked a ticket on Ryanair and I never will.
They claim to offer discount air, but then add on ridiculous fees for every little thing -- including water. And then passengers are supposed to pay to go to the bathroom? Wow -- what a bargain!
I'd be interested in knowing the psychological profile of the people who fly this way and think it's a great way to do business. I think there is way too much competition for people to have to put up with it.
I believe it was USAirways that recently announced a reversal of some of its fees -- this makes me more interested in considering them when booking air because they are obviously using common sense and paying attention to their customers.
American Airlines recently went to charging $150 a ticket for any little kind of booking mistake -- yikes! Are they trying to drive people back to using the phone so they can collect extra booking fees? I wonder, because the thought of making a mistake on the internet (all too easy to do on their website) would make a lot of people fairly nervous.
As much as I love providing service for my clients, I may have to stop making bookings with American because of their punitive policies. There used to be a "24 hour" rule that enabled a customer to correct a mistake withing 24 hours without penalty, but now American has taken that away -- another way to cash in! Ha ha -- gotcha!
Playing gotcha games with their customers? What is the matter with these people? They are turning the pleasure of getting to a dream vacation into a nightmare. I think travelers will have to constantly speak up, speak out, and complain to get a restoration of fairness and respect from the airline industry. I for one intend to do my part.

Oh, yes, we ran into this situation in Europe, but it was only 50 cents. This airline is a joke! How ridiculous, after all, going to the facilities is a human condition. When you gotta go, you gotta go! Why should travelers have to pay to pee? It's retarded. Especially after already paying for a ticket. Maybe they should just take the toilets out completely and their paying passengers can just pee in the aisle. How would they like that? Idiots. People are tired of being "fee-ed" to death.
I always fly on Southwest -- no extra fees! If I ran an airline I would just figure, OK -- everybody's going to use the lavatory -- and charge an extra buck, for Pete's sake.
