Dang!  I was eager to write up a great report on Alaska cruises, but I ran out of time to get the opinions of one of the key clients I needed to talk to first.  Well, I should be able to get to her on Monday.

Then -- I'll begin my preview of Alaska 2010, which will culminate at our Open House on September 19th.  Along with the Alaska and Europe previews, we'll have a Caribbean theme and additional focus on family reunions.

My next article for publication is "How to be Awesome -- 6 Steps to the Perfect Family Reunion."  Many people think a cruise or fly-and-stay package will just be too darn expensive or logistically challenging, especially for families that are scattered around geographically, so I'd like to demonstrate how they can use me to help create and coordinate a meaningful, memorable event that everyone can participate in and fully enjoy.

You can think of my services like those of a wedding coordinator, except you don't have to pay me!

I know a large family that decided to rent condos instead of taking a cruise, and while I have no doubt that it was cheaper, I had to cringe because I wondered who exactly this vacation was for -- surely not for the moms who end up cooking, cleaning, and keeping everybody entertained just like they would at home!

I say, give those hard-working ladies a break!  They deserve a vacation, too, so I want to show people how they can make it happen without taking on the national debt.  Anyway, stay tuned -- and please feel free to send in your tips and comments on successful family reunions...
