Alaska or Europe this Summer?
Going to Alaska or Europe this summer? I'm cruising Canada-New England in September, but if I had had any idea that cruise prices would be so low this Summer and Fall, I would have opted for the Mediterranean!
I started a new blog: http://luv2cruz.wordpress.com and got a few Alaska pictures posted! One drawback to this blog is that I am limited on photo publishing. Cruise Planners does have an amazing collection of stock photos, and I use them and they're fine, but sometimes I want people to see my pictures -- "average tourist" scenes and experiences they could capture for themselves.
These photos aren't mine; still, I have seen things like bald eagles grabbing fish from the water, and whale tails gracefully breaking the surface -- and you will, too (and much, much more) if you cruise Alaska.
I have also been to Europe a few times, including the French Riviera, but otherwise my experience with the Mediterranean is limited -- so pictures aren't from personal experience -- but serve to fuel the imagination of what you or I could see if we were to go.
The endless possibility is what makes travel so tantalizing!
